
Eleonora Hobbs is an artist with exceptional feel for rich saturated palette. “I live in a colorful world”, she says, “and it inspires me to show its beauty.” Her artwork represents the world as she perceives it – vivid, magnificent and breathtaking. Varieties of details on each painting fulfill the entire composition. You will find distinct proportional lines in some pieces like “Geometry” series or “Musical Instruments” theme. They give a clean structured look from an eye of an architect. The other abstract works are based on perception of color, and bring a sensation of life to the paintings.
The “musical instruments” theme in some paintings represents the influence and love of classical music. Eleonora graduated from Musical School in a class of piano, so naturally piano became her favorite instrument and a popular object in her paintings. She gives a fresh contemporary twist depicting it in her works.
The The tragedy of 9-11 left a deep impact in Eleonora’s life. The painting “View from the Window – Brooklyn” shows the emotions of “hitting the wall”. She had decided to move from New York to find a new path. She'd found her love in the sunny city of Miami, where she got married.
Her family's support inspired the artist. She starts a new chapter in her life by creating art. Eleonora Hobbs prefers to use contrast rich colors and variety of shades along with the graphic shadows in her works.
Eleonora graduated from Tashkent State Polytechnical University of Uzbekistan with the degree in Architecture. Her experience contains various projects such as working in the permanent exhibit center of Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy in the department of the Main Art Director, being a member of the Established Union of Design of Uzbekistan, participating in the All-State Exhibition of Art and Design in Moscow, as well as working in the field of interior design. She had been appointed a creative director of art-photography design, working for AIDS Prevention campaign for the State Health Organization. In 1996 Eleonora moved to New York.
Eleonora is a participant of the 26th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition of 2011 that was held by Agora Gallery of New York.
